Moonpebble Hiding

by dizzywoodsecrets on April 28, 2010

Moonpebble has returned to Dizzywood and you need to try to find her. She’s hiding pretty good in a funny spot. Go to Canal City in the Glibert Square West section and then walk over to Mrs. Whiskercheeks’ cafe. Moonpebble is hiding behind the booth in the back. You can just see her tail and wing sticking out!

When you click on Moonpebble you get 200 Dizzywood points for use in the Dizzywood Exclusives store.

New Critters in Dizzywood

by dizzywoodsecrets on January 29, 2010

So the strange footprints turned out to be new critters in Dizzywood. And there are four new critters that were introduced. In fact, there are really eight new critters because there are “special” versions of all four also available. Unlike most critters, these ones can only be purchased in the Dizzywood Exclusives store. The new critters are:

Flightless Trill
Mossbear
Catercrab
Poppin

The special versions have different animations and are called:

Empress Trill
Rolling Mossbear
Teacup Catercrab
Hover Poppin

Dizzywood had a contest where you picked a critter team and then tried to collect the most elixirs for their critter. The winning team gets an adoption certificate for one of the new critters!

New Critters in Dizzywood

by dizzywoodsecrets on January 24, 2010

All of those footprints that have been showing up were for new critters in Dizzywood, which have arrived. You have to purchase them in the Dizzywood Exclusives store if you want them right now, but there is also a contest going on this weekend and one team will get a free critter adoption certificate on Monday!

To see the new critters and participate in the contest, you need to go to Gilbert Square East in Canal City. Then click on the critter pedestal on the stage to choose a critter team. I liked the new Poppin critter the best!

Then click on the chest to the right called “Bucket Chest” and you will get four buckets. You need to fill these up with 20 items of crystal elixir from all four of these areas: Presto’s Grove, Breakwater Beach, Garden Gazebo, and Tanglevine Jungle. When you get all four, you’ll get points for your team. You can do this as many times as you like and the team with the most points on Monday wins!

Footprints in Explorer’s Camp

by dizzywoodsecrets on January 14, 2010

There are two sets of footprints that mysteriously appeared in the Explorer’s Camp in Dizzywood. There is a post on the official Dizzywood blog that talks about the footprints and says that Montana Jack has gone into the jungle to investigate. Also, if you look at the bulletin board in Presto’s Edge there is a message about new creatures coming to Dizzywood.

Most people think this means that there will be two new critters coming to Dizzywood very soon. What do you think?

Dizzywood Winter Festival 2009 Guide

by dizzywoodsecrets on December 18, 2009

The 2009 Winter Festival has arrived in Dizzywood. The festival has a lot of things that are the same as last year, but many new things, too. Especially new clothes for Gold Explorers! This is a complete guide to the 2009 Edition of the Dizzywood Winter Festival.

Snow Everywhere

The first thing you will notice about the Winter Festival on Dizzywood is that it’s snowing almost everywhere. There is snow already on the ground and covering things and snow falling from the sky. You can see the snow in most places that are outdoors. Even the login screen! There are a few places that do not have snow, like Breakwater Beach and the underground places like Jaguar Temple. But it is snowing in the Chasm inside Presto’s Edge.

The Festival in Farthing’s Pond

The main part of the festival is in a special area called Farthing’s Pond. This is the same place where the festival was last year. But this year you have to be a Gold Explorer to get inside. :(

The sign and banner to go to Farthing’s Pond is in Presto’s Edge, between the sign to Presto’s Grove and Groomfur’s House of Fashion. You can click on either the sign or the banner to get there but you have to be a Gold Explorer to get in.

Farthing’s Pond features an ice skating pond. If you have the skates from last year, just step on the pond and you will start skating. If you don’t have the skates, get them from the box that says, “Free Skates.”

When you click on the box you get a menu of clothes that you can buy with coins if you are a Gold Explorer. There is also a free item that everyone can get: the Santa hat from last year. Here is where the box is in Presto’s Edge.

Insect (Dragonfly Charm)

by dizzywoodsecrets on December 16, 2009

The newest charm in Dizzywood is the Insect (Dragonfly Charm). It’s a very cute little dragonfly that you can put next to your name or in your home. Like all the charms in Dizzywood, it’s hidden inside a charm chest that you need to find.

This one is in Canal City in the Gilbert Square West section. Go down to where Mrs. Whiskercheeks is over in her cafe and look towards the back. The little purple charm chest box is hiding in the corner right behind where her menu is. Click on it to get the charm!

Recover the Name Styler Mission

by dizzywoodsecrets on December 16, 2009

Recover the Name Styler mission in Dizzywood

The Recover the Name Styler mission in Dizzywood is a mission that you get when you become a Gold Explorer (paid membership). You need to complete this mission to get the Name Styler power, which lets you change your name font and your chat bubble font. If you see people walking around with really colorful names or chat in Dizzywood, it’s because they are Gold Explorers and have completed this mission to find the power.

The first thing to do is to accept the mission, which will show up in your mission list. Then you have to go find a crate that has the special power device inside it. Airship Pilot Higgins needs you to help him recover it!

The crate is in Tanglevine Jungle, up above where the broken pillars are on the small island to the right of the river. So when you arrive in Tanglevine, use your levitation power to cross the river and then walk up and to the right and you’ll see the crate. Click on it to complete the mission and get the Name Styler device.

You’ll find the new power in the Powers section of your backpack. Click on it to give your name and chat a new look.
