The 2009 Winter Festival has arrived in Dizzywood. The festival has a lot of things that are the same as last year, but many new things, too. Especially new clothes for Gold Explorers! This is a complete guide to the 2009 Edition of the Dizzywood Winter Festival.
Snow Everywhere
The first thing you will notice about the Winter Festival on Dizzywood is that it’s snowing almost everywhere. There is snow already on the ground and covering things and snow falling from the sky. You can see the snow in most places that are outdoors. Even the login screen! There are a few places that do not have snow, like Breakwater Beach and the underground places like Jaguar Temple. But it is snowing in the Chasm inside Presto’s Edge.

The Festival in Farthing’s Pond
The main part of the festival is in a special area called Farthing’s Pond. This is the same place where the festival was last year. But this year you have to be a Gold Explorer to get inside.
The sign and banner to go to Farthing’s Pond is in Presto’s Edge, between the sign to Presto’s Grove and Groomfur’s House of Fashion. You can click on either the sign or the banner to get there but you have to be a Gold Explorer to get in.

Farthing’s Pond features an ice skating pond. If you have the skates from last year, just step on the pond and you will start skating. If you don’t have the skates, get them from the box that says, “Free Skates.”

Festival Costumes
There’s a blue gift box that says, “Festival Costumes.” You can find it in two places: Farthing’s Pond and Presto’s Edge. When you click on the box you get a menu of clothes that you can buy with coins if you are a Gold Explorer. There is also a free item that everyone can get: the Santa hat from last year. Here is where the box is in Presto’s Edge.

There are a lot of costumes that you can get this year if you are Gold. There are hats, girl’s costumes, and boy’s costumes.
Winter Festival Hats
The hats include the free Santa hat for everyone, the following other hats:
- Toy Soldier
- Antlers
- Reindeer Nose
- Scrooge Hat
- Caroler Bonnet
- Candy Cane Hat
- Elf Cap
- Gift Hat (wear a present on your head!)
- Xmas Tree Hat

Winter Festival Boys Clothes
There are three clothing items that boy characters can buy in Dizzywood for the Winter Festival. They are the Scrooge Shirt, the Scrooge Pants and the Leather Jacket.

Winter Festival Girls Clothes
Girls get a lot more clothing options for the Dizzywood Winter Festival. There are six items that girls can buy! Here they are:
- Caroler Blouse
- Caroler Skirt
- Candy Cane Shirt
- Candy Cane Pants
- Elf Shirt
- Elf Pants

Winter Festival Missions
There are a whole bunch of missions for the Winter Festival, and they are the same missions as last year but you can do them again. The first two that you get are:
After you complete those two missions, you can get a few more:
- Discover and Decorate
- Winter Expressions
- Spark the Tradition
That’s all for my complete guide to the 2009 Dizzywood Winter Festival. They haven’t said when it will end but enjoy it while it’s here!

Honestly, it focused mostly on Gold Explorers, not Silver nor non-members. Overall, the Winter Party isn’t so bad… Do they still have the snow-man costumes?
